How To Install Brother DCP-7065DN Drivers On Mac OS

Download the DCP-7065DN driver file to your Macintosh.

Notes:
If you don’t find the installer package icon, please extract the downloaded file “Brother_PrinterDrivers_MonochromeLaser_1_5_0.dmg” manually with Macintosh “Disk Utility”. “Disk Utility” can be found in /Applications/Utilities. Using “Disk Utility”, the Installer Disk Image can be mounted.

• Double click the installer package icon “[Brother_PrinterDrivers_MonochromeLaser_1_5_0.pkg”. Follow the on-screen instructions.

For USB Users:

• Connect the USB cable to your machine and Macintosh. Make sure the machine is on.

Notes:
Do not connect the machine to a USB port on a keyboard or USB hub without power.
The printer driver will be installed automatically.

You need to make sure that the printer driver installation is complete.

1. Select “System Preferences/Settings” from the Apple Menu.
2. Click the “Printers & Scanners” icon.
3. Check if your Brother machine is showing in the “Printers/Printers & Scanners” section.

If your Brother machine is displayed, the setup is complete.

If your Brother machine does not appear, try disconnecting and reconnecting the USB interface cable to your Macintosh. And then repeat steps 4 – 6 to check if the printer driver installation is complete.

For Network Users (if applicable):

Connect your Brother and Macintosh machines to the network.

1. Select “System Preferences/Settings” from the Apple Menu.
2. Click the “Printers & Scanners” icon.
3. Click the “+/Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax” button located under the “Printers & Scanners” section.
4. Click the “Default” icon located at the top of the dialog box.
5. Select your machine from the “Name” list. Make sure that “[model name] + CUPS” is selected in the “Use” list.
6. Click “Add”. The printer is now available in the “Printers & Scanners” list.
7. Select “Exit System Preferences/Settings” from the Apple Menu.

The setup is now complete.
